Objective of the Program
Objective of the program has always been to encourage young talents in the country, groom them according to SPAN culture, working methodology, and to provide the right opportunity to explore and gain professional experience. This program enables the candidates to hone their working skills and enter the IT industry.

Prerequisites for candidates taking part in SIP
We are looking for graduates - B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A / M.Sc degree holders with good computer programming knowledge. We will consider 2008 & 2009 pass-outs only for the program. We will also consider the shortlisted candidates of 2008 SIP batch based on the availability.
The entrance test of 1-hour duration will comprise -
§ Part I - General Aptitude: Analytical, Arithmetic, Verbal & Reasoning.
§ Part II - Technical: General Programming skills,
Successful candidates will be called for an interview before being inducted into SIP 2009 Batch -1

Some students from our class went and enquired about the projects available while some have called. The extra information that we got is as follows:
-They Charge Rs.3000/- PER HEAD (Not per team)
So, if 4 of you are doing a project with them, it costs Rs 12000 bucks for your team.
-They have a good range of projects. As told by Jayanth.
-They are willing to come to Mysore and coach the students PROVIDED, they get around 10 to 15 Batches from Mysore.
-They are trying to contact the college authorities. They are not yet aware of the colleges in Mysore.
So, the point is, if you have any intentions of doing you final year project in this place, it would be better to make sure that 10+ batches (Your friends etc.) apply so that they can find it feasible to visit Mysore and train us here.
